Walls are stripped, made good, lined with quality lining paper where required, and sized to give the new paper something stable to bond to. Most wallpaper failures we're called in to fix come down to skipped preparation, not the paper itself.
We plan drops carefully so pattern repeats land where the eye expects them — at door heads, picture rails and corners. For large-repeat papers we order the right roll count up front to allow for matching waste.
We hang made-to-measure murals, scenic panels and panoramic papers. These need precise survey measurements before ordering — we'll measure on site and check the supplier's drop schedule against the room.

Hang to plumb, butt-joint seams, smooth out air, trim cleanly at all edges.

For premium papers, almost always yes. Lining paper gives a flat, absorbent, stable surface so the finish paper sits perfectly and the seams stay tight long-term.
We measure on site and calculate based on the pattern repeat. As a rule of thumb, always add at least one extra roll from the same batch for repairs.
